Find us on Carlsbad Boulevard in Carlsbad Village, a short walk from the beach and the seawall. Every pastry cone is our take on the Czech trdelník, also called a chimney cake, grilled fresh to order until it's golden and crispy. Then we fill it with a creamy spread, cold soft serve, and the toppings and drizzle you pick. First time in? Start with a Cookie à la Mode, then come back for this week's specialty creation. Not in a cone mood? Grab a Belgian hot chocolate, a hot fruit cone, an ice cream cup, or pints and boxes to share.
We're an easy stop from Oceanside, Encinitas, Vista and San Marcos.

From Rexburg to Carlsbad
Crispy Cones started in 2018 as a tent in Rexburg, Idaho, with a grill that never seemed to cool down. The tent became a trailer, the trailer became a storefront, and one Shark Tank deal later there are 30+ stores in 17 states.
Every one of them, including this one in Carlsbad, still grills each cone fresh to order, just like we did in that tent.
